For now, it's only available in Korean as part of Samsung's Bixby text calling feature
Can't answer the call? This feature is currently only available in Korean. Part of Samsung's Bixby voice assistant, the service allows you to have a conversation on the phone by simply typing a text message. Samsung plans to release Voice Creator in English later this year.
The announcement comes after Google used Google Assistant to automate certain parts of phone calls. It also comes amid a surge in interest in AI-generated content, thanks to the emergence of ChatGPT.
To be clear, Samsung's new feature is not AI that answers calls entirely on your behalf. Instead, Bixby Text Call allows you to enter a text message to answer a phone call at times when it might not be practical to do so verbally. Bixby then converts the text you enter into audio for the recipient.
